Thermowells are intended to protect the temperature measuring device (thermocouple, resistance thermometer, or thermometer) from fluids with characteristics unsuitable for direct contact with the sensor. They are essential for replacing/calibrating the sensing elements without interrupting the normal operation of the plant. INT manufactures different types of thermowells, machined from bar stock or made from tube, in various types of materials, in threaded, flanged, or welded execution depending on the request. Thermowells can be sized in accordance with the ASME PTC 19.3 standard (stress, frequency, calculation) and supplied with the corresponding calculation report.
